Jonathan Victor

Biography

Jonathan D. Victor is a neuroscientist whose research focuses on principles of neural information processing. He holds a BA in mathematics (Harvard, 1973), a PhD in biophysics (Rockefeller, 1979, under Floyd Ratliff, Bruce Knight and Robert Shapley), and an MD (Cornell, 1980). After neurology residency at The New York Hospital and two years at Rockefeller, he returned to Cornell, where he is Fred Plum Professor of Neurology and Neuroscience.
